Materials from the School of Law, jointly stewarded by the Law Library and the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project - publicly readable, with edit access shared across both Grouper groups.
Northeastern University Department of Public Safety
Description:
A boundary survey photograph held by the Public Safety unit. Included as sample material so a group-gated editor who is not the depositor has a work to steward: they can edit it through their Grouper group, but must ask repository staff to withdraw or move it.
A short technical report held under embargo until the end of 2027. Included as sample material so the embargo presentation can be exercised on seed data: the record stays discoverable and its metadata readable, while its files are withheld until the release date.
A short slide deck deposited as a PowerPoint file. Included as sample material so the PowerPoint half of the document-rendition path can be exercised on seed data: the original file is preserved and a PDF rendition is generated alongside it.
A Word document included as sample office material so the Word/PowerPoint to PDF rendition and first-page thumbnail enrichment can be exercised on seed data.
A short public-domain audio recording, included as sample audio material so the repository's in-browser audio player can be exercised on seed data. Sourced from Project Gutenberg (public domain in the United States).
A coastal landscape photograph carrying small, medium, and large download renditions, so the download-size picker on the work's metadata can be demonstrated on seed data.
A short scanned document of a few pages, included as sample multipage material so the repository's paged (Tify) viewer and per-page deep-zoom can be exercised on seed data.
